We’ve had a worship leadership rotation going since the summer with:
- Jonathan – the actual on-staff, paid “Director of Worship & Arts”
- Jim – the actual on-staff, paid “Director of Media Ministries”
- and, me – the actual not-on-staff, UNpaid worship leader husband of the actual on-staff, paid “Minister to Children/Preschool”
Well, this week was my week … and it only started out as a 1/2 Sunday, too. Jonathan plans to start it off, and then I will come up after the break with 2-3 songs and lead into the message.
Not so fast, my friend!
Two years ago our church embarked on a new construction campaign. Actually, we were here for a few months before we heard a word about this new construction campaign.
I guess there’s not been a lot of “keep-it-in-front-of-you” emphasis, so, this Sunday one of the committees (and we have a lot of them) wants to do a special emphasis to re-kickoff this campaign … hence, I get bumped.
So my plan of doing,
