I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this internet thing! I really hope it catches on … especially since web development is what I get paid to do 😉
Anyway, one of the things that I love about it is being able to connect with people and ministries around the world, watch sermons and services online at a moment’s notice, and waste an afternoon watching stupid human videos and old-school commercials that Los seems to have the spare time to find.
Being a web developer/designer/engineer/master (whatever it’s being called now) I’m on the computer all day. One of the things I’ll do throughout the week is go to my favorite podcasts or sermon sites, press play and then listen (or watch) and work. Then, if I’ve gone through the latest entries, I’ll hit the archives.
I know there are many more churches and ministries out there who post audio/video of their services, but what I loved instantly was North Point‘s. I’ve been through that archive a number of times with Andy Stanley, Jeff Henderson, Louie Giglio, Voddie Baucham, Clay Scroggins and a few others sprinkled in the mix.
I could go on and on and on about the message style – the ability to be convicted through comfort. It’s amazing how comfortable I feel, even through my computer, as if Andy and I or Jeff and I or Louie and I are buddies. All the same, I believe it’s through that level of comfort that I am still able to be convicted through the message, even through my computer.
Here are a few of my favorite messages/series:

These are definitely some favorites, but truth-be-told, there’s not a dog in the bunch. The whole archive (and I started all the way back to September 11, 2005 with Louie’s Indescribable series) is nails.
