are really fun, but can be a big pain in the backside. I have been trying to get this solo project done for months and months now, and I’m not much farther from where I began.
Between responsibilities at church, home, office and road, there’s barely any time to sit and figure out some songs.
I’ll get this thing out just a soon as I can.
Went to see David Crowder last night at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City. Not as many people there as I had expected for a Third Day headliner. The floor was full. The first bowl was full and the first half of the lower balcony was full, but the top was completely empty.
I used to love everything that Third Day did. Maybe it’s b/c I’ve seen 12 different shows, but I just wasn’t that interested last night with Third Day. Don’t get me wrong – I still think they are great musicians, entertainers and messengers of the gospel, but I just didn’t feel the same kind of energy from them that I have in the past.
David Crowder, on the other hand, rocked the night. I have kept my eye on Mr. Crowder ever since I met him on my recruiting trip to Baylor University (baseball) in Waco, Texas. A buddy of mine who went to school there took me to University Baptist where he introduced me to Mr. Crowder.
They know how to get it done!
Everybody keep rocking and praising God … I’ll get this record out sometime. =)
