“Everything will change. We will never be the same.”
“Oh the glory of it all
is He came here
For the rescue of us all
That we may live
For the glory of it all
Oh, the glory of it all.”
Very much so a more worshipful album than A Collision. I can say that I’m not blown away with the musical stylings and creativity (though it’s very good), but the lyrics and songwriting on this album … to me … are incredible.
Obviously “Everything Glorious” has been around for a while.
There’s yet another Six Steps/Passion/front-lines artist with a new hymn arrangement. “O, For a Thousand Tongues to Sing”
where there is pain … let us bring grace. Where there is suffering, bring serenity. For those afraid, let us be brave. where there is misery, let us bring relief. let us be the Remedy
By the way, I pre-ordered this thing back when it first went on pre-sale. When it wasn’t there by Tuesday, I contacted Passion and the 268Store and talked with Erica (very nice and helpful). She said that it had shipped the previous Friday. That seemed like enough time to me to get from wherever it started from to get to St. Louis … It didn’t arrive until Thursday. Luckily, I had the opportunity to listen to the album all throughout the week before release.
