There is an amazing AP story that opens like this:
“Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is running for president on her husband’s White House record.”
Amazing. If the wife of a Republican was running on no achievements or qualifications of her own, would they get this kind of fawning media coverage? Of course not. But it gets better. It turns out that the New York Times wrote the same story about Hillary’s Senate run in 2000! The headline then was:
“Clinton Now Running on Husband’s Record.”
