When I first hooked up with Pay Per Post (a site that allows advertisers to offer money to bloggers to write ads on blogs), I wrote about it … and then wrote some more.
I’ve been a Pay Per Post member since back around December-ish or so. As a member you get to pick and choose which offers you write about from a list of offers for which you (your blog) are qualified. Qualifications are based on a matrix of Google PageRank, Alexa Rank, blog category and age, number of offers accepted, and other factors.
Since I’ve been a member, I’ve chosen only six (6) opportunities to write about … and be paid for. You can click on the “Sponsors” link over there to the right to see them all. In total, I’ve been paid a little over $30. I see others listed on the homepage that have totals in the thousands of dollars, but I’m more choosy, and want to make sure that what I’m writing about makes sense to be on my site. My site isn’t intended to be a billboard for ads on blogs, so I want to try to choose opportunities that might be of value, and get a little cash on the site.
Some of that cash has been used in-part to buy a few things like:
- strings for my guitar(s)
- Madden NFL 2006 for the PS2
- taking band members out to lunch
- buying CD’s
- etc
- mostly things that I can buy with my PayPal credit/debit card
If you have a few extra minutes each week or so, and want somthing to do to make a few extra bucks go ahead and signup with Pay Per Post, and see how it works for you.
